What Happened To Real Player?   As you may know from previous notifications on our website, NetRoadshow ended support for Real Player on November 18, 2011. The newest versions of Real Player did not meet the security standards required by our clients, and the older players were no longer supported by Real. Further, usage of Real Player had dropped to well under 1% of our users, and we also determined that support for Real streams no longer made sense from a software and server standpoint. In conjunction with dropping support for Real Player, we have introduced full support for Adobe Flash Player, which is available to over 99% of our users and has become a leading standard for delivering streaming media content on the Web.

* Windows Media Player support in Firefox
NetRoadshow supports the newest version of the Windows Media Player plugin for Firefox. The older plugin architecture for Windows Media Player is not supported due to its technical limitations and its incompatibility with newer versions of Windows Media streaming content.
